Phytography

Phytographs originate from direct contact between vegetal elements and photosensitive surfaces. Leaves, plants, and organic traces are used as matrices, allowing light to act without the mediation of a camera.
The process brings photography and nature into relation through a practice grounded in the physical presence of materials and their exposure over time, generating images that function simultaneously as imprint and transformation.
